    This Week in Dallas ISD: Sept. 9 edition

    This year, for the first time in Dallas ISD history, pre-K enrollment has topped projections, attracting more than 11,000 students!

    Pre-K seats are still available throughout the district, so if you know a parent of a 3- or 4-year-old interested in giving their child a great head start, send them here to learn more.

    Remembering 9/11

    Piedmont G.L.O.B.A.L. Academy held a somber, yet hopeful, ceremony in remembrance of the events of 9/11. (Read this)

    Preparing for college

    The district’s annual college fair on Sept. 21 will offer high school juniors and seniors a helping hand navigating the path to college. (Read this)

    Scholarships for study abroad

    The Council on International Educational Exchange has awarded Skyline High School a Global Navigator Scholarship, which earmarks $20,000 in scholarships for Skyline students to study abroad during the summer. (Read this)
