What does being your best self mean? Or how can one be brave?

Those answers and more will captivate an audience filled with young women who will attend the upcoming #BestSelf event on Saturday, May 14, hosted by the Dallas Women’s Foundation.

Students from Irma Lerma Rangel Young Women’s Leadership School are among participants to attend the sold out event at the Plano Centre.

This year, keynote speaker Rachel Simmons, will empower young participants from the topic of “Being your #BestSelf and Being Brave”.

Simmons, an author, educator and coach, will offer various workshops throughout the event including one designed for parents called Raising Resilient Girls.

Here’s a brief look at other workshop offerings:

  • Be Your #BestSelf: Joint for Youth & Adults
  • The Inner Beauty Workshop™ by Embody
  • Love and YOU: Advocating for Yourself by Shanterra McBride

In addition to the fun and learning, the attendees will receive lunch and a chance to win various giveaways during the event.
