Dallas ISD Chief of School Leadership Dr. Bob Bravo said that the district looks to support all principals as much as possible. He noted how Dallas ISD execuitve directors coach principals throughout the year, and that the ratio of executive directors to principals is among the best in the country.
“That support and that coaching (from executive directors) is invaluable,” said John Quincy Adams Principal Nancy Bernardino, a nominee for elementary school principal of the year.
Stephanie Elizalde, deputy chief of school leadership, added that principals set the tone in Dallas ISD by modeling best practices.
“They have worked hard at inspiring a shared vision so all students can be successful in every student in our district,” she said.
