    Dallas ISD brillará este fin de semana en el Festival del Día de la Tierra

    Cuarenta y siete escuelas y departamentos van a mostrar sus proyectos y programas sobre el medio ambiente a los asistentes durante el Earth Day Texas.

    Este evento gratuito y abierto al público se llevará a cabo del 24 al 25 de abril de 10 a.m.- 6 p.m., en Fair Park. Se invita a los estudiantes, padres y personal del distrito a que visiten el festival, el cual tiene como objetivo promover y adoptar productos sostenibles, mejores prácticas y servicios para mejorar la calidad de vida, ahorrar dinero y ayudar al medio ambiente.

    El festival ofrece una cantidad de exhibiciones, entretenimiento e información relacionada al medio ambiente. Algunas de las actividades son:

    • Exhibición interactiva móvil de la NASA
    • Entretenimiento de música en vivo
    • Artes y exhibiciones sobre las ciencias

    Más de 3,000 estudiantes del Dallas ISD asistirán a este evento. Quince equipos de debate van a competir como parte de una serie de debates y el ganador recibirá una beca ó un iPad dependiendo de la categoría de edades.
