TBT Courtney Thomas

For today’s Throwback Thursday feature, we are taking you back down memory lane with one of our DallasISD alumni, Courtney Thomas. She is a proud graduate of the Bryan Adams High School, Class of 1984. She also attended George W. Truett Elementary School and W.H. Gaston Middle School. Her Dallas ISD pride is true because now, just 30 years later, she currently serves as a Dallas ISD principal at Thelma Richardson Elementary. Beyond the academic side of things, Principal Thomas was truly a social butterfly. As a student, she loved the social aspect of school because she met some of her lifelong friends.

Her motivation is helping others and making a difference. She is most proud of opening one of the best schools in Dallas and had one piece of advice to current students: Learn Spanish!
