The Dallas ISD is accepting nominations for students to be screened for the Gifted and Talented Programs. Students who are up to the challenge of a rigorous curriculum and can excel in the program are usually those who are self-directed, creative and able to demonstrate critical-thinking skills.

The program is accepting nominations now through Sept. 25, for students in grades one through 12.

Parents, guardians and community members may nominate students for consideration. Information packets are available at each local campus from the Gifted and Talented Program teacher or coordinator. Students must be enrolled in Dallas ISD to be tested.

For more information, visit the Talented and Gifted webpage.
