Tonight is the night for the eighth-annual Dallas ISD Districtwide College and Career Fair! The college fair is free and provides many benefits to students and parents as they embark in their next chapter. Please note that all juniors and seniors need to be pre-registered with their counselors to attend. We’ll see you starting at 5:30 p.m. TONIGHT at the Ellis Davis Fieldhouse, 9191 Polk St.

Calling all parents, community leaders, neighbors and friends of Dallas ISD! We are looking for volunteers to SUPPORT our students. It takes only a quick 60 minutes, one time a week, to impact a child’s life. How can you show your SUPPORT? Tutor an elementary student, mentor a secondary student. SUPPORT a classroom by assisting in the computer lab or  Volunteer today chaperoning a field trip! You can also SUPPORT a school by assisting with special programs or provide support for extracurricular activities. This, days after a resident near the Alex W. Spence Talented/Gifted Academy unknowingly recorded Chief Miller using a hidden camera, as he stopped to address the citizen’s concerns of heavy traffic near the campus.
