Spurred by a strong response from the community, the Dallas Independent School District will extend the deadline for its Public School Choice Community Survey through midnight Wednesday, Nov. 12. More than 3,000 responses have been received in the last month about potential choice schools and programs through a survey offered by the Dallas Independent School District. Meanwhile, the district is gearing up for its next big push toward opening 35 additional public choice schools and programs by 2020. Dallas ISD is committed to maintaining a supportive and safe school climate where all students are accepted. Knowing how to respond when bullying happens is key to ensuring all students are able to learn and grow. Toward this effort, Dallas ISD students joined with the district’s Counseling Services Department to produce this anti-bullying public service announcement.
