Pat and Emmitt Smith Charities and Belk, the retail department store, are teaming up to donate 1,600 uniforms to Dallas ISD students this Thursday at Roger Q. Seniors who have completed the requirements for graduation this summer will have their moment of pomp and circumstance on Thursday, Aug. 13. Commencement exercises for seniors from all district high schools are scheduled at 6 p.m. Thursday at Ellis Davis Field House, 9191 S. Polk St. Graduating seniors are encouraged to participate in the commencement rehearsal set from 10 a.m.–noon, Wednesday, Aug. 12, also at Ellis Davis Field House.
