The students at D.A. Hulcy STEAM Middle School have been giving back to the community all year. One focus of the school is Character Development and making a difference in the lives of others. This past months, the students donated Stuffed Character Pillows, made during art class, to the children at Genesis Women’s Shelter. The Children’s Program Director for Genesis Women’s Shelter, Delana Baker, LMSW, spoke with the students on Tuesday, April 12 during morning huddle. Some of our youngest students from Seagoville North Elementary School received a surprise visit by KDFW-TV (FOX 4) Meteorologist, Evan Andrews, earlier this week. Second-graders from the campus recorded a quick clip that aired on Good Day FOX 4.  See their smiling faces in the video here.
