Dallas ISD school counselors will be honored at a special event on Tuesday, May 3, and the top counselor will emerge from 42 nominees at schools across the district. The spotlight continues to shine on the Sunset High School Robo*Flash, and for good reason. As far as anyone can determine, it is the first robotics team comprised solely of students with special needs. The group was recognized as trailblazers by Dallas ISD Superintendent Michael Hinojosa and the Board of Trustees during the April 28 board meeting.
