In honor of Veterans Day, all are invited to visit the Marsh Military Museum on Nov. 11 from 7:30 a.m.–7 p.m. The museum located at 3838 Crown Shore Dr. is offering tours provided by LCC cadets. The museum features military artifacts from World War I and beyond. Call 214-335-0708 with any questions.

Dallas ISD high school girls learned firefighting and life lessons at Camp LADDER, a one-day and one-night camp hosted by the Dallas Fire Department. The core of the program is to teach leadership skills and self confidence. The program gives girls insight into the male-dominated firefighting profession to help their career aspirations and in life. See the full NBC story here.
