The African American Success Initiative has partnered with local Dallas county judges who created a program called Pipeline to Possibilities. The goal is to educate students on various aspects of the justice system. The Trinity Chapter of The Links, Inc. is proud to announce the celebration of its 10th Anniversary of its signature “Diamonds and Sneakers” Gala. The Gala will be held March 4 at the Hilton Anatole Hotel at 6 p.m. The evening of diamonds and sneakers will include dinner and dancing with the popular David White Band. The gala supports an enrichment program developed by the Trinity Links in 2000 for Dallas Independent School District elementary and middle school girls called SoSMAART. The boys basketball teams at Madison, Lincoln and Skyline high schools are competing in the regional tournament later this week. The games with Dallas ISD teams scheduled for March 3 are: Madison High Schools v. Mount Vernon High School: 6 p.m. at Rockwall Heath High School Lincoln High School v. Paris High School: 8 p.m. at Texas A&M Commerce Skyline High School v. Dekaney High School: 8 p.m. at Ellis Davis Field House The winners of these games will play the following day. The Hub will post the results on these games.
