To say the faculty and students of Dallas Environmental Science Academy love their cafeteria staff is a major understatement. Invited to nominate the cafeteria staff for the Heart of Child Nutrition Award sponsored by the Food and Child Nutrition Services Department, the school responded with a whopping 141 nominations — the most of any district school. Tuesday, FCNS Executive Director Dora Rivas presented the DESA cafeteria workers their award.
