Due to widespread power outages throughout the area, Dallas ISD schools and offices will be closed Tuesday, Feb. 16 and Wednesday, Feb. 17, and will not be required to make up these days. Dallas ISD will announce school plans for Tuesday, Feb. 16, by 5 p.m. today. Meanwhile, Dallas ISD Athletics announced that basketball playoff games scheduled for Feb. 15 and 16 are postponed. A presentation to the Dallas ISD Board of Trustees detailed how a partnership with Apple is helping the district bring the tools of the 21st century to students.
