This week the district recognized three of them as the 2020-2021 Teacher of the Year for each learning level, celebrating their passion for teaching and their commitment to making a difference in the lives of their students. Justin Henry reelected to the Dallas ISD Board of Trustees
0Voters have reelected Justin Henry to continue serving on the Dallas ISD Board of Trustees. Unofficial results from the May 1 election show Henry received 75.96 percent of the vote and Ulana Sigler received 24.04 percent of the vote in the race for District 9, which serves South Dallas and parts of Downtown Dallas, Pleasant Grove, Deep Ellum, Uptown and East Dallas. Henry, who was originally elected as a trustee in June 2018, currently serves as the board president.
Join your neighborhood block party and enroll your child for the 2021-2022 school year!
0To assist families to complete their online enrollment for the new school year, Dallas ISD teams will be hosting neighborhood block parties, throughout May. Families will receive assistance with online enrollment while enjoying music, fun and a snack. Covid-19 social distancing and mask protocols will be followed.
