Dallas ISD proposes raising the minimum district hourly wage to $13.50

Dallas ISD is proposing to raise the minimum district hourly wage from $12.12 to $13.50 per hour. Employees in the impacted positions would receive an average increase of 10%, with some employees receiving slightly less or more depending on individual specifics. The increase would impact about 7,300 employees, primarily in the Maintenance and Operations, Student Transportation, Food and Child Nutrition Services, Paraprofessional, Office Support, and Police and Security pay structures. Bond 2020 kicks off with school design charettes for new replacement schools

Dallas ISD Bond and Construction is launching the Bond 2020 program with virtual design charettes for 11 new replacements schools. On November 3, voters approved Proposition A, which provided $3.2 billion to fund repairs and upgrades to more than 200 of the district’s 230 campuses.  The proposition also includes funding for replacement schools for: W.H.
