Every campus will have rapid COVID-19 tests available
0Every Dallas ISD campus will have rapid COVID-19 tests available to school staff and students. Students under the age of 18 will require parent permission (click here for parent permission form) for the rapid test that provides results in about 15 minutes. The school nurse or a trained designated campus employee is responsible for administering the test. A COVID-19 rapid test for a student can be requested through the school nurse. Meanwhile, Dallas ISD central staff can get a rapid COVID-19 test at 3701 S. Botham Jean on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:30–10:30 a.m.
Five schools with Redesign calendar welcomed students back on Aug. 2
0The five Dallas ISD schools with a School Day Redesign calendar proudly opened their doors to students on Aug. 2 as part of a bold effort to catch students up from learning loss caused by the pandemic. Thanks to funding provided by Bond 2015 and Bond 2020, we are renovating existing athletic spaces and building new, state-of-the-art facilities for our scholar athletes. Operation Connectivity: Dallas ISD considering investments to close Dallas’ digital divide
0Dallas ISD spearheaded Operation Connectivity with the vision of providing high-speed, reliable internet and digital devices to all Dallas ISD households to facilitate remote learning during the pandemic.
