New graduation requirement for current 12th graders
0The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has implemented House Bill 3 (HB 3) Implementation: FAFSA Application as a graduation requirement, beginning with students enrolled in 12th grade during the 2021-2022 school year. Each student must do one of the following in order to graduate: Complete and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Complete and submit a Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) Submit a signed opt-out form Dallas ISD will make a variety of resources available to support students and parents in completing the FAFSA application to get 12th graders college bound. Students at Greiner and Anson Jones Elementary find success in reading and writing with a new program
0Students at W.E. Greiner Exploratory Arts Academy and Anson Jones Elementary School are sharpening their reading and writing skills through a new learning program. Greiner and Jones Elementary are among a handful of Texas schools piloting the Amplify program, and campus leadership is already noticing gainful results.
