Dallas ISD secondary STEM students recently competed in Texas Math & Science Coaches Association State (TMSCA) tournaments, where they took top awards in several categories and were awarded two scholarships. Students from nine high schools traveled to San Antonio in March to compete at the state level in four contests: number sense, mathematics, calculator applications, and science. For the Willis family, Dallas ISD is home, as a total of five of their immediate family members work for the district and all share a long history with the district.
