Candidates for the Dallas ISD Board of Trustees have until 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13 to submit their filing packets to secure a place on the ballot. The first day to file is Wednesday, Jan. 14.
Three seats are up for election:
- District 8, Northwest Dallas, Love Field, and parts of East and West Dallas, currently represented by Joe Carreón
- District 2, North and Near East Dallas, currently represented by Sarah Weinberg
- District 6, Southwest Dallas, currently represented by Joyce Foreman
Candidates may file an application in-person at the Office of Board Services, located at 5151 Samuell Blvd., Room 245.
The office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, visit this site.
