Dallas ISD invites families to explore the district’s schools and programs at Discover Dallas ISD, the largest school fair in North Texas. With nearly 230 schools to learn about, families can meet their students’ future campus representatives, explore innovative programs rooted in tradition and excellence, and build meaningful connections for the year ahead.

The family-friendly event takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, at Fair Park’s Automobile Building. Attendees can enjoy free activities, including food trucks, and apply on-site for the 2026–2027 school year.

1. Explore Dallas ISD’s innovative programs

Discover the district’s cutting-edge offerings, from P-TECH/ECHS, Montessori, project-based learning, talented & gifted, STEM/STEAM, early learning, career institutes, dual language, and visual & performing arts to our Legacy Schools.

2. Apply on-site for the 2026-2027 school year

Beat the rush and be among the first to register for next school year. Campus teams will assist families applying to application-based schools and legacy school transfers.

3. Visit school kiosks that interest you

Campus kiosks will feature informational handouts, giveaways, and the chance to talk directly with school representatives. Explore programs that spark your student’s passion and find the perfect fit.

4. Fun for the whole family

Picture this: robots rolling past, drones zipping by, and hands-on STEM/STEAM activities that spark curiosity and imagination. Around every corner, find something new to explore, such as student performances, award-winning bands, and mascots. Families can meet live animals, create floral designs, explore the Career Exploration Mobile truck, and enjoy free food.
