As the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year comes to a close, seniors across the district are celebrating early college acceptance letters.
“I’m very appreciative of the opportunity I’ve received,” said Samantha V., a senior at W.H. Adamson High School. “Being first generation, this whole process is new territory that no one else before me has been through. A very big milestone for not just me but my family.”
Students are being admitted to prestigious institutions such as Dartmouth College, Brown University, the University of Chicago, Davidson College, and Barnard College.
“I feel good about my colleges,” said Jared A., a senior at W.T. White High School. “I’m excited, I want to travel, go out of state and experience their culture. I want to experience new things and meet new people.”
