Virtual sessions will help parents tap into the potential of the iPad for early learners

Dallas ISD’s Early Learning department is launching its iPad 4 Early Learning Family Series!

The twice-monthly virtual sessions will cover topics specifically for parents of Pre-K through 2nd grade students who are interested in learning how to use the iPad to promote student learning at home. In this series, parents will learn:

· iPad essentials for meaningful learning

· how to keep early learners safe online

· how to unleash your student’s creativity

In addition to online safety, sessions will cover how to help children use the iPad to express ideas, practice language and phonics skills, develop number sense, and document their learning. Fun lessons include learning how to create a family video and play activities steeped in learning for the winter break.

Join our Virtual iPad4EL Series and unlock the potential of the iPad to enhance at-home learning with your early learners! Remember to bring your iPad to the session.
