Candidates have until Friday, February 17 at 5 p.m. to submit their filing packets to secure a place on the ballot. The first day to file is Wednesday, January 18.
Three seats are up for election:
- District 2, North and Near East Dallas, currently represented by Dustin Marshall
- District 6, Southwest Dallas, currently represented by Joyce Foreman
- District 8, Northwest Dallas, Love Field, and parts of East and West Dallas, currently represented by Joe Carreon
Candidates may file an application in-person at the Office of Board Services, located at 5151 Samuell Blvd. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
