Students asked to return all district-issued devices, accessories and chargers before summer break

To update the Dallas ISD One-to-One device program, the district needs to collect all student devices, accessories and chargers.

Please make sure your student has the device charged and ready to turn in at school on their assigned turn-in date. Please note that failure to turn in the device by the end of the school year will result in the device being listed as missing and/or lost, and the device will be locked and unusable.

If you have a student who will attend summer school or who plans to use the device frequently throughout the summer, students are welcome to check out their device.

To check out the device for summer use, the parent/guardian must complete the following steps:

  • Complete the Summer Device Checkout form by Thursday, May 26th – https://records.dallasisd.org/Forms/UseAgreement
  • Students must bring the device during the campus designated day. The student’s device will be checked by staff for any damage or issues and checked back out for the summer.

Beginning in July, parents/guardians will need to complete the permission slip for the One-to-One program for the 2022-2023 school year.  Students will receive their devices at the beginning of the school year. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact IT Help Desk at 972-925-5630.
