What better way to start the day than Pre-K? Tomorrow starts here, because Pre-K is the blueprint for life.
Dallas ISD’s Pre-K program supports every facet of a child’s development, including early literacy, early mathematics, the arts, the sciences, social emotional development, character and leadership. The district’s early learning curriculums encompass academics in a manner that replicate real life. Students collaboratively engineer, paint, read, write, experiment and more as they problem solve, think critically and actively engage in learning. Teachers model language, read stories and practice writing in journals every day.
There is also a focus on partnering with families and providing them with resources and tools to help grow their child’s educational foundation at home. Working in early learning gives teachers and administrators an opportunity to nurture students as they grow and create meaning. The district’s Pre-K programs engage parents, students and teachers in the fun of learning – together!
