Middle schoolers excel at UIL Spring A+ Home Academic Competition

More than 550 students from 38 middle schools participated in the UIL A+ Spring Middle School @ Home Academic Competition held on Feb. 26. Academic events included in the online competition were calculator applications, chess, dictionary skills, listening, maps-graphs-charts, math, number sense, science, social studies, and spelling. Top students will receive ribbons for each event.

The top-performing schools from each group are listed in the chart below.  The campuses with the most students ranked first or second on individual tests were identified as top-performing schools.

  Several students received a perfect score of 100 on their individual tests.  Along with ribbons, students with perfect scores will receive a certificate of excellence from the University Interscholastic League. Those students are included in the chart below.
