Downtown parade to celebrate SOC championship team

A downtown parade and ceremony at Dallas City Hall will celebrate the South Oak Cliff High School Golden Bears for winning the state championship.

SOC wins the state championship!

The parade will start on Jan. 22 at 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Main Street and S. Pearl Expressway and end at Dallas City Hall. A ceremony with school and district leaders and elected officials will follow the parade at City Hall.

Twenty Dallas ISD schools have been invited to march in the parade.
