Previous event:
During the first Parent Symposium, which was held on Nov. 30, 2021, guest speakers provided a deep dive into important special education topics. In addition to information sessions, attendees were able to participate in four “Brain Breaks,” which provided techniques for relaxation to promote self-care and positive mental health for families.
After the first symposium, one parent shared, “I really loved the ideas given by Sandra Martínez, about how to teach children about managing their emotions.”
