Eleven Dallas ISD schools earn the “College Success Award” for their track records of preparing students for college

Eleven Dallas ISD schools have earned the College Success Award – Gold for their track records of preparing students for college.

GreatSchools.org gives the College Success Award to recognize public high schools that stand out in helping students enroll and succeed in college. To celebrate schools with a multi-year track record of postsecondary success, GreatSchools also added an additional, elevated level of distinction: the College Success Award – Gold.

The Dallas ISD schools that received the College Success Award – Gold are:

  • Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy
  • Dr. Wright L. Lassiter Jr. Early College High School
  • Irma Rangel Young Women’s Leadership School
  • Judge Barefoot Sanders Law Magnet
  • Kathlyn Joy Gilliam Collegiate Academy
  • Rosie M. Collins Sorrells School of Education and Social Services
  • School for the Talented and Gifted
  • School of Business and Management
  • School of Health Professions
  • School of Science and Engineering
  • Trinidad “Trini” Garza ECHS
