How do I apply?
Applicants who are interested in leading our classrooms can submit the 2020-2021 Teacher Application available on the Dallas ISD Careers website.
While many schools have their own individual job postings, applicants are encouraged to also submit this districtwide application. Jobseekers who apply through the 2020-2021 Teacher Application will receive additional support from HCM professionals. Dallas ISD recruiters will keep the applicant up-to-date with upcoming occurrences, such as virtual teacher job-fairs and opportunities to interview with principals.
There is no upcoming deadline for the 2020-2021 Teacher Application. However, submitting it early increases the applicant’s chances to find their best fit.
The Dallas ISD Careers website offers numerous tools and resources that can help candidates find their best job match. This year, HCM rolled out TMS: a new mobile friendly application that identifies job opportunities based on the applicant’s resume.
“I did find the process user friendly,” said Melina Zevallos, a recent applicant. “The questions were very clear and it was easy to upload documents as well.”
Professionals will be available to guide candidates and answer individual questions at futureteacher@dallasisd.org.
Dallas ISD is following the guidance of Dallas County Health and Human Services, which is working closely with the CDC, local governments, and health care providers to prepare for and respond to the evolving COVID-19 situation. As a result, HCM will organize various virtual job fairs and interview days via phone and various telecommunications applications (such as Skype and Zoom) during this time. Applicants will be receiving information on interview opportunities from the recruitment team until the return to normal schedules.
