Dallas ISD is facilitating 11 events in January to support families who have children with special needs.
From workshops for parents on how to encourage social behavior with their child to an open dialogue about services, programs and initiatives with Dallas ISD Special Education Executive Director Michelle Brown, the month full of events is part of an effort to enhance communication and support for families with one or more children receiving special education services from Dallas ISD.
“Our goal is to set our families up with the tools and resources they need to help their child thrive, and for them to know we are here to support them along the way,” said Elizabeth Casas, Dallas ISD Assistant Superintendent of Special Education.
