More than 100 parents attended the Nov. 16 Dallas ISD Fam Jam event at Spruce High School, NBC 5 reports.
NBC 5 reports that the event made learning fun for parents and students who enjoyed giveaways and activities.
“We really enjoy this opportunity to partner with Dallas ISD, as parents and as a family, and work together,” said Jonathan Morrison, a parent interviewed by NBC 5. “The city is better, the community is better when we are working together for our children.”
The Dallas ISD Family & Community Engagement Office hosts the Saturday Fam Jams.
