Dallas ISD Stories is a new Hub series where district students, teachers and staff share their own stories.

My ultimate goal is to go to medical school and become a cardiac surgeon or cardiologist, so I love getting a head start at the School of Health Professions. I want to work with the heart because it’s complicated and you have to be delicate and exact, and I find that so satisfying. I like a challenge and don’t like anything too easy.
