Dallas ISD veteran educators joined together at the 47th Annual National Alliance of Black School Educators conference held in Dallas this week to share lessons learned throughout their careers as leaders in the field of education.
The group gathered at the Dining with Divas’ Denim and Diamonds Networking Mixer as the conference kicked off. The event recognized 11 women from across the country who have made a significant impact in education. These women were not only honored for their achievements, but they each took part in table top discussions with the participants to answer their questions and share advice.
Honorees from Dallas ISD were: Pamela Lear, chief of staff; Angie Gaylord, deputy chief of Transformation and Innovation; and Cheryl Nevels, executive director, P-TECH, Early College and Collegiate Programs.
