A performance by students from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts opened up the annual KPMG Family for Literacy Market Day for Literacy fundraising luncheon.

Students from Leonides Gonzalez Cigarroa M.D. Elementary School and Principal Douglas Burak shared their gratitude for the organization’s continued support of the school. Founded in 2008, the program promotes literacy by providing new books for students at dozens of Dallas ISD schools and programs during the year. KPMG has also supported district students and schools in other ways through the years.
