American Heart Association and Grant Thornton donate new equipment to Truett Elementary

The American Heart Association and Grant Thornton donated brand-new recess equipment to George W. Truett Elementary School to help students continue being active and heart healthy.

At the donation event on Oct. 4, every grade got their own set of equipment. The Dallas ISD STEM Department coordinated the donation.

Representatives from the American Heart Association and Grant Thornton spoke with students about the importance of exercise and thanked the school for their warm and enthusiastic welcome.
