The Junior League of Dallas recently awarded 50 Dallas ISD educators with grants of up to $2,000 to support innovative teaching.
The Grants for Innovative Teaching (GFIT) classroom projects range from an “escape room experience” and aquarium kits to 3D printing pens and ukuleles. Go here to see a full list of the awarded grants to Dallas ISD teachers.
This year’s grants are made possible through donations from Texas Instruments, Agnes Cluthe Oliver Foundation, and the Hillcrest Foundation through Bank of America. Since being established in 1992, the Junior League of Dallas GFIT program has awarded about $1.8 million to Dallas ISD educators.
An award ceremony on Sept. 25 celebrated the innovative projects and educators tirelessly working to improve education.
