Meet Fran Harris, one of 10 2018 Dallas ISD Athletic Hall of Fame inductees.
Harris is a 1982 graduate of South Oak Cliff High School, where she dominated the basketball court and played on the Golden Bears women’s team that went to the state championship.
Hall of Fame inductees will be recognized at a commemorative ceremony in May.
“It is an honor to be named to the inaugural class of the Dallas ISD Athletic Hall of Fame,” Harris said. “It brings back a lot of memories from growing up in Oak Cliff, going to South Oak Cliff High School and getting the foundation for what I’ve become.”
