The annual Model United Nations conference brought together about 400 sixth-graders from 13 Dallas ISD campuses earlier this month at Ellis Davis Field House.

Students conducted research on world cultures and also global issues beforehand so that they could serve as delegates from UN countries. Students focused on solutions to 10 issues relating to sustainability, including education, gender equality and health. The annual event is coordinated by the Dallas ISD Social Studies Department.
