Individuos, organizaciones y negocios que fungen como voluntarios y apoyan a Dallas ISD demuestran que la unión hace la fuerza.
Este año, las cifras son muy alentadoras. Hasta la fecha, 29,000 voluntarios han servido al distrito, acumulando más de 300,000 horas de servicio lo que en el mercado laboral equivaldría a $7 millones. Del mismo modo, con los socios comunitarios, el distrito ha registrado más de 2.500 contribuciones documentadas valoradas en un total de $ 10.1 millones.
El jueves, 20 de abril, voluntarios y socios que han tenido un impacto positivo en los estudiantes fueron reconocidos en una ceremonia especial. Los mejores, que se enumeran a continuación, recibieron premios en sus respectivas categorías.
