Dallas ISD schools will have early release days in December, with a shorter day on Dec. 22 for elementary schools and shorter days Dec. 20-22 for secondary schools. The ending times for the those days are listed below.
- Elementary schools and vanguards, 11:55 a.m.
Exceptions: Rosemont Primary, 12:15 p.m.; Solar Prep, 12:15 p.m. - Middle schools, academies and Montessori, 12:35 p.m.
Exceptions: Hulcy STEAM, 12:10 p.m.; Obama, 12 p.m. - High schools, magnets and early colleges, 1:15 p.m.
Exceptions: Bryan Adams, 1 p.m.; Garza ECHS, 1 p.m.; Gilliam, 12 p.m.; Patton, 1 p.m.; A. Maceo Smith, 1:15 p.m.; IDEA, 12 p.m.; Woodrow Wilson, 1:05 p.m.; Samuel ECHS, 1 p.m.
Winter Break begins on Friday, Dec. 23. Staff returns on Monday, Jan. 9; students will return on Tuesday, Jan. 10.
June 1 is an early release day for elementary schools, and May 30-June 1 are early release days for secondary schools.
