With the help of the Exchange Club of East Dallas and volunteers from Southern Methodist University and Woodrow Wilson High School, Mount Auburn Elementary School put the finishing touches on an outdoor classroom over the weekend.

The Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) school will put the outdoor classroom to good use.

“As a STEAM campus, we see the beautiful opportunity to integrate our lessons into this outdoor space,” said Jamie Bernstein, nurse at Mount Auburn Elementary.
