The United Way Metropolitan of Dallas and several businesses teamed up with Dallas ISD to celebrate Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, or STEM for short.
E. B. Comstock Middle School hosted this spectacular event, with more than 75 volunteers setting up six different stations that peaked the students’ interest in a variety of STEM subjects. The experiments ranged from the Balloon Brain Wonder Kit to Catapult Science.
“This is very important that we pique our students’ interest into the STEM vocations,” Comstock Middle School Principal Willie Johnson said.
