Several assistant principals and campus instructional coaches from Accelerating Campus Excellence (ACE) schools met at Annie Webb Blanton Elementary to hold the first Transformation Academy.

The purpose of the gathering was to study best practices in teaching and learning and to observe Master Principals.

“Our goal is to empower assistant principals and principals to learn from transformational leaders so they can continue to carry forth the work and have great results for students,” said Jolee Healey, Executive Director of ACE schools.

Dallas ISD launched the ACE Plan, which stands for Accelerating Campus Excellence, as a way to provide strong leadership, effective teaching and high expectations at seven of the district’s most struggling schools
