L.G. Pinkston High School will host a Prep U Super Saturday event on October 4 from 9 a.m. to noon. Parents from throughout the L.G. Pinkston High School feeder pattern are encouraged to come out and take advantage of the available free resources.
Prep U events are presented by the Dallas ISD Office of Family and Community Engagement, and are designed to help parents by providing a free, “one-stop-shop” where community organizations offer strategies and resources to support children academically, emotionally and socially. The event will include student performances and over 40 resource booths featuring giveaways, free books and a family reading area. Free health screenings will also be available, including immunizations and flu vaccines for children two months to 18 years old.
The L.G. Pinkston Prep U event will be a family affair, so make sure to bring the kids for free food and drinks, door prizes and games and face painting.
