Most Dallas ISD students entering kindergarten through 12th grade may register for school using the district’s online enrollment tool now through Sept. 2. So far this year nearly 9,000 students have submitted enrollment applications using the online system.
Below are answers to five of the most common questions regarding online enrollment.
What is a SnapCode?
A SnapCode is a unique 15 character and numeric code that provides a student’s primary guardian access to pre-filled enrollment forms.
How can I get a SnapCode?
SnapCodes are centrally generated and provided to each campus to distribute to parents. The district is aiming next year to send these SnapCodes directly to parents via their email on file.
Do I have to re-register my student if they attended a Dallas ISD school last year?
The district requires returning students to update their information within the first 30 days of school. This online tool provides parents the ability to update their student’s information if it may apply.
Who can help me with enrollment form questions?
Parents should contact their child’s school with any questions.
Do I have to use the online registration tool?
No. Parents still have the option to enroll at their zoned school using the district’s paper enrollment forms.
