In celebration of National Teacher Appreciation Day, Brandon Hamilton from WFAA surprised two Dallas ISD teachers at their homes very, very early in the morning.
At 5:24 a.m., Hamilton surprised Michael Ruiz, a Dallas ISD Teacher of the Year who works at W.B. Travis Vanguard for the Academically Talented and Gifted, at his home. You can watch Ruiz’ reaction in the above video.
An hour later, Hamilton surprised Brandon Segura, a teacher at Dan D. Rogers Elementary, at his home. Go here to see Segura’s reaction.
Hamilton gave both educators the WFAA Golden Apple Award.
