As part of the Intensive Schools Network, Raúl Quintanilla, Sr. Middle School receives additional campus resources that it puts to great use.
The school has multiple community partnerships that help students, teachers and parents. For example, League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) President Domingo Garcia has donated incentives, including tablets to sixth-graders, to students who achieved academic excellence.
Meanwhile, the Sylvan Learning Center provides foundational math skills to students, and Frost Bank provides financial literacy workshops to parents.
Quintanilla Principal Angela West said these partnerships are instrumental in the school’s success. Watch the above video to learn more.
